About Frameless
Frameless is London's largest permanent immersive art venue, set just off Marble Arch at the western edge of Hyde Park. It takes famous works by artists like Van Gogh, Monet, Klimt, Dali, Rembrandt, and Cezanne and turns them into floor-to-ceiling digital projections across four separate galleries, each with its own mood and theme. Instead of looking at a canvas on a wall, you walk through the paintings as they move, shift, and wrap around the room, often set to music and, in some galleries, with changing scents and surfaces underfoot.
The four spaces each do something different. One leans into the dreamlike and surreal, another plays with color and light on a large scale, a third animates the brushwork of well-known works, and the last is a mirror-filled room built for reflection and photos. The whole thing runs on high-resolution projection and surround sound, so it works equally well as a slow wander or a stop between other sights. It's a good fit for families, since there's nothing fragile to worry about and plenty of movement to hold a child's attention, and it stays comfortable in any weather, which makes it a reliable rainy-day option.
Plan on somewhere around an hour and a half to two hours to go through all four galleries without rushing, though you can easily linger longer. The venue sits right by Marble Arch Underground station, with Oxford Street and Hyde Park a short walk away, so it pairs naturally with a day in the West End. Timed-entry tickets are the norm here, and weekend and holiday slots tend to fill up, so booking ahead is the safer bet.
