London Zoo Tickets: Skip-the-Gate Entry Admission
About this tour
Skip the ticket line at the gate with a mobile entry ticket to ZSL London Zoo, the world's oldest scientific zoo, right in Regent's Park. Inside you'll find several hundred species, from Asiatic lions and Sumatran tigers to penguins and the silverback gorillas of Gorilla Kingdom, who have their own island and stretch of African rainforest. Keeper talks and feeding sessions run throughout the day, so there's always something happening. Some summer tickets even include after-hours access to the Zoo Nights event, letting you explore once the day crowds have gone.

Visiting London Zoo: Zones, Hours, and Getting There
London Zoo is laid out as a series of themed zones, and it's worth grabbing a map on arrival to plan your route around the keeper talks you most want to catch. Land of the Lions recreates an Indian forest for its Asiatic lions, while Tiger Territory lets you watch Sumatran tigers climb and swim. At Penguin Beach there's an underwater window for watching Humboldt penguins glide past, and Gorilla Kingdom puts you close to western lowland gorillas in a planted, naturalistic setting. For smaller and nocturnal species, head to Rainforest Life and Night Life, and don't miss the historic Reptile House, the aquarium, 'In with the Lemurs', and 'Meet the Monkeys'.
The zoo opens daily at 10:00, with closing shifting by season, usually around 17:00 to 18:00 in spring and summer and earlier, roughly 16:00 to 16:30, in autumn and winter; last entry is generally an hour before closing, so check the official site before you go. It sits on the northern edge of Regent's Park. Camden Town station on the Northern Line is about a 15-minute walk, Regent's Park on the Bakerloo Line is also within reach, and buses including the 274 and 10 stop near the entrance; in warmer months you can arrive by boat from Little Venice along the canal. There's no dress code, but wear comfortable shoes for a day on your feet and dress in layers, since much of the visit is outdoors. Cafes, kiosks, picnic areas, and gift shops are spread across the grounds. Plan on at least half a day, and longer if you're with younger children.
