Topkapi Palace: Hours & What to Wear

Topkapi Palace is open every day except Tuesday. From April 1 to October 1 the hours are 09:00 to 18:00, and from October 1 to April 1 they shift to 09:00 to 17:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. The palace also closes on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

There's no formal dress code here, though if you're pairing your visit with Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque nearby, it's smart to skip anything too revealing. Comfortable clothes and shoes go a long way, since the complex covers a lot of ground and you'll be on your feet for most of it.
