How the Morning Runs and Where It Starts

The tour starts with pickup at your centrally located Istanbul hotel, so there's no scrambling to find a meeting point. From there your guide walks you through the compact core of the Old City, all within easy reach of each other.

You'll move from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque across the open ground of the Hippodrome, passing the German Fountain, the Obelisk of Theodosius, and the Serpentine Column along the way, before ending in the Grand Bazaar. The whole thing runs about four hours, wrapping up around midday. Note that the tour does not operate on Fridays.
