What to Do at the Park and How to Get There

The park spreads across 18 hectares inside the Bois de Boulogne, so there's a fair amount of walking between attractions and it suits a half-day or full day rather than a quick stop. Rides run the full range: gentle carousels, a little train, and the Rivière Enchantée boat ride for younger kids, along with thrill rides like the Speed Rockets, the Chaises Volantes, and the 2025 Dragon rollercoaster, which runs a 350 m track up to 50 km/h and 15 m high with forward and reverse sections. There are also two virtual-reality attractions, Jurassic Island VR Xperience and Jurassic Island 360 Xperience. In between, you can visit the Petite Ferme to meet goats, sheep, and alpacas, see the birds in the aviary, catch a Guignol puppet show, and walk the landscaped gardens, including a quiet Korean garden. Some rides carry height restrictions, which are posted at each one.

The easiest way in is Metro Line 1 to Les Sablons, a short walk from the Porte des Sablons entrance; buses 244, 163, and 164 also serve the Bois de Boulogne, and the Petit Train runs in from Porte Maillot. Hours shift by season and for special events, generally running from mid-morning to early evening, with weekends, public holidays, and school vacations the busiest, so check the official site before you go and arrive early for shorter lines. There's no dress code; wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather, since most of the day is spent outdoors. Grab a map at the entrance to find your way around the grounds.
