How the Day Unfolds

Your guide meets you at your Istanbul hotel in the morning, and the group heads to the ferry terminal to cross the Sea of Marmara toward the Princes' Islands. The ferry ride itself is part of the fun, with open water and the city skyline behind you as you go.

Once on the islands, the pace slows down. There are no cars here, so you'll explore the streets of Kinaliada and Büyükada on foot, with a stop for lunch and plenty of free time to relax, take photos, or swim if you're traveling in the warmer months. The day runs roughly 8 to 9 hours end to end, and you're dropped back at your hotel at the finish. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sun protection in summer, and pack a light jacket for the breeze on the ferry.
