How the Pamukkale Day Trip Unfolds

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Denizli or Pamukkale, then a short drive of about 25 minutes over to the terraces. Your guide meets you on site and walks you through the white travertine pools before heading into the ruins.

In Hierapolis you'll see the well-preserved ancient theatre and the sprawling necropolis, the old burial ground that ranks among the largest anywhere in the area. A lunch break falls midway through the day, and afterward you're driven back to your hotel.
