How the Pamukkale Day Trip Unfolds

The day starts with pickup at your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk, followed by the drive inland to Pamukkale. Your guide walks you through the terraces first, the tiers of white travertine formed by warm, calcium-rich spring water running down the hillside, before you break for lunch.

In the afternoon you'll explore Hierapolis, the ancient city built above the springs, with its large theatre and one of the biggest necropolises in Asia Minor. After you've had time to take it in, transport brings you back to your hotel to wrap up the trip.
